Premium Quality Retreads

Cheap Price
The similar safety standard like new tyres notwithstanding retread tyres offer enormous price advantages. In direct comparison to new tyres of comparably high standard retread tyres are available about 30 – 45 % more competitive. Before abjuring to buy winter tyres to spare some money it should be taken into consideration that the use of high quality retread tyres complies with legal requirements and also conserves your summer tyres during that time. This will pay you off not later than in the following summer season.

Aspect of Quality
Nowadays retread tyres with its tremendous quality can be regarded as equivalent to new tyres. Compared to some extremely cheap import tyres the retread tyres sold by us even feature a higher safety. The whole process of production through a mass of safety controls take part.

Process of Production
Within the first and essential step a basis for the high standard of production is provided:
only carcases of well-known tyre manufacturers are going their way through several technical and optional controls into the production. Their condition and their age have to comply with the stringent directives of the ECE (Economic Commission for Europe). Smallest damages inside or outside the tyres already cause their exclusion; those wich „didn't match it“ are sorted to become a part of the ecologically precious recycling ( e.g. rubber for building track-and-field-lanes). At the next station of production the rubber of the old tread is removed, accurate to a millimetre by the help of computerised machines. Up to this step hidden damages at the tyre attracted attention here at the latest what effected its elimination at once. When applied the new rubber mixture an exact centring, an automatic detection of welding joint and a separation of stripes is performed by a template controlled extruder. The expert calls this process the tread building. The mixture of raw rubber derives from the new tyres production. This rubber meets the todays passenger cars standard. After the following sidewall building the tyres get balanced. Using a pressure of 15 bar at a temperature of 160°C the form is added to the tyre blank each with its matching mould. Surplus burrs get removed and the tyre again passes through several visual and final inspections including pressure control. A high quality tyre accesses the trade; this tyre receives the same 2 years of guarantee like a new tyre.

ECE-Standard „E“
Retread tyres with the proving seal of the ECE-Standard R 30 meet the same standards like new tyres do. Retread tyres offered here receive the same 2 years of guarantee like new tyres do. The ECE-Standards 108 (for passenger cars) and 109 (for trucks) valid for retread tyres in whole Europe became effective in the year 1998 (see end of chapter). Although nations like Germany practised the realisation of this EU-Standard not until 2006, 13th of July – so they were declared as legal required duty – all products of our tyre's manufacturer have are produced, tested and certificated according to all terms and conditions of the ECE-Standard R 30 since 1998, when this standard has been established. Our distributor thereby disposes of all necessary experiences of compliance with safety and production directions. All tyres you can choose at our online offer vary with a complete quality inspection.

Vehicles with tyres not showing this ECE-Standard R 30 are - per evaluation of the TÜV (Technical Supervisory Association) - categorised as with serious deficiencies. In some cases it may effect the close down of the vehicle besides high fees. All the tyres reliable at our internet offer are retread at the company Reifen Hinghaus GmbH considering highest qualitative requirements. The E-No. testifies high quality at the same degree like new tyres have to fulfil. All tyres offered at www.proreifen.com comply with the ECE-Standard R 30 (in Germany the Kraftfahrzeugbundesamt (KBA) is in charge with this). The standard signifies that a tyre passes all quality tests guilty in whole Europe so it may be sold by authority. The given E-Number (108 R00 0012 for passenger cars / 109 R-00 0012 for trucks) is visualised at each tyre's sidewall. Additionally the proved tyre is recognizable at the alphabetic character “E“ , accompanied by a numeric character, e.g. “E1“, framed by a circle. The cypher encodes the nation where all tests have been absolved – in this case 1 = Germany. The Kraftfahrzeugbundesamt constantly proves the compliance with plenty of criteria wich are necessary to gain an E-Number. The whole year verifications about the developing and the results of all tests are created, nonstop. Only tyres basing on a production with a complete evidence are allowed to show the title of the E-number and especially to be built and sold. The abidance by the pan-European ECE-Standard is obligatory for every tyre manufacturer – what means it is prescribed by law. Tyres produced after 2006, 1st of October have to feature the marking with a guilty E-number. Vehicles with tyres wich have been produced afterwords and wich don't show an E-number, either, are per evaluation by the TÜV (Technical Supervisory Association) classified as cars with serious deficiencies. In some cases it may effect the close down of the vehicle besides high fees. After the ECE-Standard 108/109 has become a required execution in several nations during the past the Rat der Europäischen Union made the decision at 2006, 13th of March to oblige both policies for an interim period of time of 6 month, guilty for all EU-nations. Therefor the EU-Member-States aren't allowed to pass retread tyres into the communitie's markets without establishing these two requirements. (translated excerpt out of the presentation KOM (2004) 774 (2004/0271-AVC) basing on the bottom of the decision.). (translated excerpt out of „Aktuelle Informationen zur Genehmigung nach ECE-R 108/109“ [Actual Informations by authority according to ECE-R 108/109] published by the Kraftfahrzeugbundesamt.

Contribution to Protection of the Environment
During the production of a retread tyre a new retread tyre is created out of an used new tyre. The bulk of a product wich was put into the process of recycling before now gets reused expedient, again. This doesn't only spare the environment a lot of sourcing of raw rubber but it also puts the procedure of burning sequence aside. The energy balance for the production is much positive for retread tyres than for additionally built new tyres. According to this facts saving the environment and sparing resources are strong arguments for retreading tyres.

Convenience at Option
In principle retread tyres can – as new tyres - be given every possible profile. So, you can chose wich retread tyre fits to your vehicle and especially to your convenience requirements.
